We were called to an incident where a mother and young child were locked out of their property and were in distress. We were called as an emergency service (Fire and rescue) to assist to gain access. In this scenario we have a couple of options. We can either force entry by controlled breakage of a window or force a door open using tools etc. Both causing damage to the property at a cost to repair. Steve was very accommodating and dropped everything to attend the incident even though he had a very busy day already before my call. I received a very professional response and given a great service. As there was no life threat it made sense for us to look after mother and child in the back of the fire appliance until his arrival. Steve arrived in good time and gained access very quickly without causing any damage. Thanks.
