Absolutely brilliant. My lock in my front door broke late on Friday. I phoned Durham City Locksmiths and spoke to a very helpful gentleman. He made sure I was able to get inside my home (via a different door) and that my home was secure that evening and agreed to come out first thing next morning which he did. He was very knowledgeable and showed me exactly where the lock had broken and gave me options. There was no hard sell to purchase the most expensive replacements either. He worked quickly and cleanly and I thought the price charged was very good value for money. If I or any of my family have any future lock or UPVC issues we will not look any further than Durham City Locksmiths. Dependable quality at a fair price. The lock on my front door has never worked as smoothly and I love my new handles too. Thank you!

Had a badly failing door lock. Emailed late at night and phoned in the morning engineer available and on-site in four hours. Not only did engineer resolve The matter and fix the lock he also adjusted the door a much as possible to slow down a similar event happening. Price charged was fair for the work and parts carried out and supplied. If anyone has any locking problems, try these guys first. First rate service and first rate cost.
